Manouba: Setting up a listening platform in the Douar Hicher youth center

The Douar Hicher youth center (Manouba Governorate) has set up a platform for listening and social and psychological support for the benefit of young people in the region, the director of the center Afraa Hanachi told TAP .

Implemented by the “Tunisia plus” association, this platform is part of the “SOLVE” (Solutions to Violent Extremism) project of the “Ma3an” program financed by the American agency for international development (USAID) in cooperation with the regional committee for the fight against terrorism and the presidency of the government.

The development of the platform was carried out following a two-day training and discussion session with a group of young people from the region, including training in communication techniques.

In the same context, the executive director of the “Tunisia plus” association, Chokri Fida indicated that the “SOLVE” project started in January 2022 and aims to strengthen the social and civic skills of young people facing the danger of violence. ‘extremism.
